Shift to Online learning

There is going to be a big shift in learning here. BIG. And I'm kind of excited to see it. Tele-networking is being utilized now more than ever, and that includes education. We have had the ability to use technology for quite some time, but still relied on old values in work and school. The internet is the most powerful tool we can teach our children - How to navigate it and how to utilize it - and remote learning or e-learning during this time is going to introduce them to that resource.

I know that the internet has had numerous of reliable and proficient information for all ages - for many years now. The problem with finding the "good" information is that you have to sift through a whole lotta "not good" information. So it can be tedious. And certainly not a really preferred choice for a child. But overall, the internet does give access to an unlimited amount of information. So, just as you are looking at a book of algebra for your very, very first time, you still need the guidance of the teacher. So, I'm very curious about how that role will evolve (and because I do have aspirations to become a teacher as well.)

If your community shifts to online learning only, I would like to tell you from personal experience, is to always keep an eye on your kids whenever they are online. 99% of it is not for them and it's important that you guide them to use it properly. And as you accompany them through it, you too, may learn something.

It's the circle of life. And it moves us hall.

Take care of each other!
